Ticketing Policies & General Information

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. Refunds are given only in the case of event cancellation. Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs are subject to change without notice. No refunds are given for duplicated web orders or for differences in full price tickets versus discounted priced tickets. Most performances have discounts for students, seniors, etc. If you feel you are eligible for a discount (senior, student, UCSC staff/faculty, etc.), please indicate at the time of your order.

Ticket Donations

If you are unable to use your ticket, consider making a donation to the producing program by returning your ticket(s) to the Ticket Office before the start of the performance, thus allowing someone else to have a seat. When applicable, your donation will be acknowledged in writing as a tax deductible donation. Please check with the box office for specific producer policies on ticket donations.

Wheelchair Accessibility

All venues are wheelchair accessible. For accommodation, please request wheelchair seating at time of ticket purchase. Mobility impaired/wheelchair seating is available for purchase online. Please call the UCSC Ticket Office at 831-459-2159, Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or the Civic Auditorium Box Office at 831-420-5260 for assistance.

Assistive Listening Devices Available

Assistive listening devices for the hearing-impaired are available for performances at the UCSC on-campus theaters. Please check in at the Box Office 30 minutes prior to a performance to check-out a device for use during the performance.

Most UCSC performances and events are not suitable for pre-school aged children. Parents of children 6 months+ must purchase a ticket for $5.00.

For events on the UCSC campus during the academic year, please arrive at least 1 hour prior to performance start time to allow for parking, ticketing, and seating.
Parking for all UCSC Performing Arts and Music Center venues events is located off Heller Drive (west campus entrance) in the Performing Arts lot on Meyer Drive. Parking in this lot is by UCSC A/B permit, paid special event permit or paystation only; lots are enforced until 8:30 PM daily. For most campus events, parking is facilitated by the campus Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) Special Event attendants and a parking fee of $4 is collected at the Performing Arts parking lot. There are also two permit kiosks in the lot that operate after 4:30 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends; patrons with a UCSC A/B parking permit or disabled placard are not required to purchase additional permits. Please display all permits so they may be visible to Parking Enforcement. For more information on UCSC parking permits, please visit the Transportation & Parking Services website.

Student & Senior Discounts

Valid student IDs are required for student discounts. Senior discounts are available to those 62+; seniors must show a photo ID that includes their birth date.
